The WCPEC-8 Parallel Events offer a deep insight into specific topics
along the most recent PV technology, PV application and market trends.
They are open to all registered conference participants. Find out how to submit a proposal.

WCPEC-8 overall Conference programme and to avoid any content or timing
overlaps.

 |  Becquerel Prize 2022: Call for NominationsThe
prestigious Becquerel Prize is commonly awarded on the occasion of the
annual EU PVSEC conference. In 2022, the EU PVSEC will host the World
Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion, therefore, the Becquerel
Prize ceremony will take place during the WCPEC-8, bringing together the
global PV community in the beautiful city of Milan, Italy.
We are pleased to promote the call for nominations and encourage everyone to take part in the nomination process.
The Alexandre Edmund Becquerel Prize was established in 1989 by the
European Commission. Its purpose is to honour scientific, technical or
managerial merit in the development of photovoltaic solar energy,
attained over a long period of continuous achievements, or very
exceptionally, for some extraordinary invention or discovery.
The deadline for submission is 25 April 2022. More information on the Nomination Form, as well as the list of requested documents can be found here:

WCPEC-8 Award nomination
We
would like to remind you that the Call for Nominations for the WCPEC
Award is still open. The WCPEC Award honours individuals that have
promoted global cooperation across international communities and have
made exemplary and recognised contributions to a specific area in PV.
The deadline for nomination is 15 April 2022.
Submit your recommendation now and help us recognise invaluable
contributions to the PV sector and honour the outstanding individuals
who have achieved them.

Send in your late abstracts
We
want to take the chance to thank all authors for your efforts and
contribution to the global PV community and for helping us shape the
programme of the WCPEC-8.
An overwhelming number of abstracts have been submitted and our review
process has started. Nonetheless, we still accept late abstracts, and we
want to encourage researchers, scientists, and PV experts all over the
world to send in your late-breaking research papers to get a chance to
present it at the WPCEC-8.
