Will the WCPEC-8 definitely be held in Milan?

Yes, the WCPEC-8 will be held from 26 – 30 September in Milan, Italy.

Will there be Covid-19 restrictions at the venue?

WCPEC-8 follows the official regulations of Italy, the city of Milan and the regulations of the MiCo Milano Convention Centre. The current situation regarding masks and social distancing may be subject to change. For further information, please take a look at the safety updates.

ONLINE FEATURES

Will the event have online features?

Yes, to facilitate the needs of all international participants, WPCEC-8 will provide an additional online platform where the entire content of the conference, side events and industry summit will be  available for streaming on demand (display of posters in the case of Visual sessions) as well as the opportunity to get in contact and network with participants via the platform.

What is included in the online ticket?

The online ticket includes access to the recordings of all sessions (for Day-tickets, access to all content of the day of registration) within the same day of the live sessions, as well as the option to leave comments on presentations and contact other participants via the Online Platform. For on-site participants access to the platform is included in their on-site ticket (on day(s) registered).
The video-on-demand service will be available for 3 months after the event. The online ticket does not include the possibility of delivering your presentation via the internet.

What is included in the online ticket?

I am a presenter / chairperson, which ticket to I need?

All speakers and chairpersons must attend on-site, therefore a regular on-site registration (full week, 1-Day, 2-Day) is needed. Please note that speakers must be registered by 31 July 2022 to ensure the integrity of the programme and to avoid changes at short notice.

Are meals included with my registration?

WCPEC-8 will provide a daily lunch buffet (Mo – Thu) and several coffee breaks throughout the days.

Who can attend the Welcome Reception?

All participants are invited to attend the Welcome Reception on Monday Evening. Attendance is included with your registration (if registered for Monday / full week).

Is it possible to submit more than one abstract?

Yes, you can submit multiple abstracts via the “Online Submission Tool” in the User Area User Area. After the deadline of the 11th of February please send the late abstracts to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

If I cannot attend, can I transfer my registration?

If you cannot attend to the WCPEC-8, but you have a valid registration already, you can transfer your registration to someone else. Please reach out to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Can I cancel my registration?

FURTHER

What is the PV Academy and how can I attend?

The PV Academy is an educational format which will give a deep insight into selected PV research & development topics. These additional sessions will take place Sunday 25th September 2022. The talks will summarize and contextualize the latest developments in PV research. The perfect opportunity to refresh and update your PV knowledge. The access to the to the PV Academy is not included in your registration.
